Leslie Granger

M.A., QMHP

Leslie joined Life Works of Central Oregon in 2026 as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Before joining Life Works, Leslie worked as a K-12 educator, currently serves her community as a youth sports coach and mentor, and maintains a chaplain's license through the International Fellowship of Chaplains. This background has shaped a relationship-centered approach to care, grounded in deep compassion, empathy, calm presence, and care in times of great stress or grief, life transitions, crisis, and trauma.

Leslie approaches each client with curiosity and the deep desire to understand their experience, history, strengths, joys, and challenges. She works within the Narrative Therapeutic approach, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support resilience, identity development, and values-based living. Leslie places great emphasis on the positive transformation of painful experiences and collaborates with clients to process and navigate life transitions, taking practical steps toward building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with future goals.

A mom to three teenagers and four dogs, she is an avid writer, yard-worker, drummer, artist, and amateur woodworker, and is quite happy having a cup of coffee with a friend. Her children think she is aging rapidly because of her newfound enjoyment of bird-watching and love of old Ford trucks, but really, Leslie is just fulfilling some lifelong dreams of contentment.
